Volunteers

The following titles are given to volunteers at the team level at Collins Hill Soccer

  • Age group coordinator: a volunteer who oversees all the teams' schedules and activities within an age group. This person is the liaison between the head coach and the operation manager

  • Head Coach: a volunteer who set up the lessons and trains the team. Plays an important role in mentoring and teaching the players. Our director provides training sessions for the head and assistant coaches.

  • Assistant Coach or Team manager: a volunteer who manages the operations of the team. This person will communicate with parents to ensure they know what is going on with the team's schedules and activities. Manages teamsnap schedules, team roster, and team cheers.

  • Team cheers: a volunteer that is assigned a task on the team (from bringing snacks to assisting the team manager with communication or distribution of uniforms), the team cheer is the parent or group of parents that ensure that the team has what it needs to better the children experience. Team managers assign tasks to all parents' team cheers weekly.

Collins Hill Soccer Club is run by volunteer parents. We understand that everyone is busy, however, every family who joins collins hill soccer is required to volunteer at least 5 hours per season.

We do select our coaches carefully and coaches and team managers are required to go through an extensive background check however, every parent will need to contribute towards the improvement of Collins Hill Soccer organization in one aspect or another.

We do provide great benefits to our coaches. If you are looking to volunteer as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach, register here
